The Leadership Lab at Brown University General Surgery is a member only program designed by Dr. Daryl Appleton to educate surgical residents on leadership techniques and theories, grow non-technical skills, and engage in guided professional and personal self-discovery. The Leadership Lab includes didactic lectures to help frame concepts and theories, small group meetings to engage in discussion and develop community between Juniors and Seniors, and 1:1 executive coaching to help individuals redefine success and evolve personal leadership skills.
